Our Story

Welcome to the Infectious Disease and Drug Discovery (IDDD) Lab at Texas Southern University, where groundbreaking science meets real-world impact

The IDDD Lab at Texas Southern University is a leading research initiative focused on the discovery and development of new treatments for infectious diseases. As part of TSU’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, we combine translational science, and training of the next generation of biomedical researchers.

Mission

To develop next-generation therapeutics targeting infectious diseases that disproportionately impact underserved communities.

Vision

To be a national hub for discovery and innovation in infectious disease research.

Meet the Principal Investigator
