Accessibility

Our commitment to making the IDDD Lab website usable for people with disabilities.

Last updated: August 3, 2026

Our commitment

The Infectious Diseases and Drug Discovery Laboratory (IDDD) is committed to providing a website that is accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We aim to design and maintain pages that support equitable access to information about our research, people, and programs.

Standards we aim for

Where feasible, we work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This includes considerations such as semantic structure, keyboard operability, sufficient color contrast, alternative text for meaningful images, and clear link purpose.

Known limitations

Some content may present accessibility challenges, including:

  • Third-party embeds or linked resources (for example, video platforms or external university systems) that we do not fully control.
  • Older documents, dense scientific figures, or gallery media that may lack complete text alternatives or captions.
  • Content updated by multiple contributors over time, which we continue to improve as we revise pages.

Feedback

If you encounter a barrier on this website, please let us know. Describe the page URL, the issue you experienced, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, if relevant. We will work to address reported issues in a reasonable timeframe.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As we update the Site, we review layouts, media, and interactive elements with accessibility in mind and welcome feedback that helps us improve.
